1. Baby Jogger City Tour 2 Double
The City Tour 2 Double stroller is the smallest model in the Baby Jogger range. It was designed specifically for travel, and can fit through standard doorways easily with its slim and compact design. It's also among the lightest double buggies on the market with a weight of just 14lbs when folded. This makes it perfect for flying with a newborn and a toddler as you won't be exceeding the allowances for luggage on airlines. It can also be folded up into an incredibly small travel bag which means you can put it in the back seat of your car.
The one-handed, Z-shape fold is a breeze and it's extremely compact once you get the hang of it. It takes a few minutes to fold. However, our tester discovered the auto lock to be a little confusing. As the handlebar doesn't lock into position when you press it, it struck her legs when she used it. She also thought the handlebar was on the shorter side. This is particularly true when a large changing bag hangs from it.
This double stroller isn't as light as other travel buggies. It has a full array of features and is one the most versatile double strollers available on the market. It's compatible with two carry cots (available separately) It also features multiple recline positions as well as an UV 50+ canopy. You can add the bassinet to either or both seats to create an all-in-one travel system.
The four composite wheels made of rubber are ideal for pavements as well as urban terrain however, they're not designed for off-roading. They struggled on gravel and long grass and there's not much clearance between the wheel and the bracket so mud was able to get stuck easily. Our tester loved this buggy, and it was able to climb pretty hillocks that were muddy.

It's a heavier tandem buggy, but it's very easy to use and steer, especially on smooth pavements. It is stable in double and single mode, and even on sloped terrain. It's not as easy to drive on public transportation, however, since it requires more than one hand to grip the handlebar. It's also large and will not fit into a standard car boot without the seat on, however this can be overcome with careful planning. iCandy include a footmuff, changing bag and car seat adapters included in the price so this is an excellent value for new parents.

Our testers found that the Nipper Double is incredibly easy to navigate, even on bumpy terrain or turning into a busy road. They were also impressed by the fact that both seats recline independently. This means they can be adjusted to meet the individual's needs. This is ideal for napping.
They also loved that the hoods were able to be moved back and forward and back, making them much easier to adjust to the sun or for wind protection. Our testers did find, however, that they did not provide the same amount of coverage compared to similar to the Baby Jogger City Mini hoods, so it might be worthwhile to pack a rain cover in case of need.
Overall, our testers were impressed with the Nipper double's ability to let them take their twin daughters Sydney and Lyla to all sorts of adventures. From seeing wildlife in the forest to rushing to a park to play with their friends They loved it. The testers were also awed by how spacious and comfortable the two seats are. There's plenty of room to stretch out for toddlers who are growing. The absence of parent-facing seating and the inability to use a car seats with this buggy were noted as a problem by our test participants. They would have also wanted a bigger storage area to store shopping items and other accessories.
